The Wipf degassing valve (Wicovalve) or one-way valve (One Way) is an important accessory for products that release gases after packaging, such as coffee, which is affected by CO² emissions.
The equipment helps preserve the freshness of the food, as it allows the gases released by the product to escape, ensuring that there is no interaction or external contamination, due to the unidirectional technology. This prevents the acceleration of the grain oxidation process and loss of its properties.
The valve also prevents the packaging from being damaged due to the internal pressure generated by the gases released by the product.
