Monomaterial line.
Maintaining the efficiency and performance of packaging, but also paying attention to nature, Soulpack developed Monomaterial Packaging. Made with a single type of material, such as polyethylene (PE) or polypropylene (PP), they follow the Closed Recycling Cycle concept and, therefore, contribute significantly to reducing environmental impact.
The Closed Recycling Cycle is a process in which materials are recycled and transformed into new products without losing their original properties. In the case of monomaterial packaging, this cycle is facilitated. Since there is no mixing of raw materials, the layer separation step is eliminated, allowing the material to be recycled in its entirety.
Can be done on all packaging, since it is the change of the components that make up the packaging. Box Pouch, Stand Up Pouch and 4 Welds
Indicated for food and animal feed.
Remember:
Sustainability is the correct disposal of packaging after use so that it can be sorted by a recycling plant. This material, which is laminated with more than one material, needs to undergo a chemical process to be recycled, or if processed together, it can become these ecological tiles, which is what we do with our production leftovers.
All packaging is recyclable, but what happens is that it does not return to the packaging chain; it is recycled into a new product, such as “tiles”. The difference with a structure that contains Green PE is that this packaging has 51% of the polyethylene that has sugarcane as its raw material, which contributes to a better use of natural post-consumer waste.
